House Hunting: Whit Harvey Group Steps Up Its Website

Whit Harvey

catch of the day fish (2)If you’ve owned a home for any length of time, you know that spring (and yes, as of today, it is now spring!) brings with it those little mailers from real estate brokers suggesting that now is the perfect time to sell your home. If you have even the slightest inkling of a whim of a chance of moving, spring time is when realtors suggest you get the ball rolling. After all, we’re coming out of hibernation, gardening, sprucing up the homestead, and sunshine and green grass makes everything look that much more inviting. If you’ve ever bought or sold a home, you know that without the right help, the experience can be confusing or frustrating. Well, the right help is at right at your fingertips now that the Whit Harvey Group has upgraded its website.

Whit and his group have been serving Baltimore since the mid-1990s. He’s involved in land preservation both in the city and the county. He was born and raised here, so knows everyone.  If he wasn’t doing so well as a realtor, we’d recommend him as a local tour guide—he knows the history and stories behind every house, block, and neighborhood in the area. But for those not necessarily ready for the full-on plunge of trekking around the city looking at houses, the Whit Harvey Group has just launched a new website, with everything from insider real estate information, to homey blog posts, to advice and services for seniors looking to downsize. There’s a mortgage calculator, an open house calendar, featured properties and more. There’s actually so much there, it’s easy to forget about the usual stressors that can go into thinking about a house. You may even find that as you peruse the website, you just start daydreaming and getting caught up in fantasies about a potential new home, and all the joys it could bring with it. And isn’t that what buying a home should be like?
